The aluminum products are preserved for many years without defects or need replacement.

Unlike wood and iron, which require a lot of maintenance, aluminum is a material that does not require repainting or consistent maintenance. To preserve aluminum products’ visibility and color over time, we at Trellidor recommend cleaning the product with a damp cloth. If your home is near the sea, washing the product in fresh water once a month is required.

The standard maximum distance between any two profiles in bars and railings should be less than 10 cm, so that a child’s head cannot pass through the profiles.

In 2014, an amendment was added to the pergolas law, stating that a pergola does not require a special permit but only a professional permit from a certified building engineer (constructor’s permit).
